for the last little while, i’ve been dreaming of creating a larger handmade piece & this is what came from that craving. the design of this wall hanging began with a peak-like piece of driftwood collected off the coast of vancouver island. the layers of knits & knots were in the moment and inspired by the northern rolling scapes found in this new place that i get to call home. woven in textures & textiles ; cozy yarns & wool’s thrifted from local second-hand shops in victoria.
